Lifelong Learning Mathematics
Any sufficiently advanced mathematics is indistinguishable from gibberish. Me. I started out by getting a minor in math while I was getting my bachelors in classical and medieval studies (yeah, I know, weird combo). I was always pretty good at math, and after linguistics, decided I liked the idea of mathematical linguistics, so I went on to get a masters in math, and spent two years working on a Ph.D., before I decided that I liked math, but just didn't love it enough to spend 100+ hours a week on it. Taking Complex Variables this summer was a nice mental stretch for me, though. A lot of the links below are ones I saved originally for the benefit of my students, though not all. I'll add to it over time, because I come across a lot of them. It needs some higher math still.
