Personal Interests Crochet
Yeah, how do I find time for all this? Well, it comes in waves. Sometimes it's a good stress reliever, when I just can't stand to think any more. Last Thanksgiving I went on another tear that I'm still kinda on. You can find some images here. I make mostly afghans; you can find an image of a scarf I did also at the above link. These aren't all the ones I've made (didn't think far enough ahead to take pictures of all of them that I gave away). Sometimes I do do a few other things, but I need to do it for the relative mindlessness, and other things tend to require more thinking, and keeping track of what stitch I'm on over many weeks or months just isn't going to work well for my lifestyle. I'm currently in the middle of several projects. I'll add more as it happens. Below are links to some afghans I've "designed" (some of them mean this only loosely), or usually just made without working from patterns (if you want to call that "design"). I've stumbled on some of them accidentally, and some required some additional forethought. It' easy to find patterns for smaller afghans, so the ones I've cooked up tend to be large enough to be bedspreads, depending on the size of the bed. L-Grannies Bedspread (coming soon) Single Granny Bedspread in Turquoise and Black (coming soon) Black & Grey from the Corners Bedspread (with Teal border) (coming soon) "Star" & Circle motif Bedspread (for Mom) Pentagons (coming soon) Blue Bell (coming soon)
